Bauhaus – The "White City"

Every Saturday at 11:00 a.m.  Meeting point:  46 Rothschild Boulevard (corner of Shadal Street).  In July, 2003, UNESCO proclaimed the "White City," the unique urban and historical fabric of Tel Aviv, as a World Cultural Heritage site. The tour focuses on the architectural styles of the 1930s – most notably the International, or Bauhaus, style – in one of the White City's main concentrations, along Rothschild Boulevard. Telling the story of Tel Aviv from its early years till today, this tour presents a wonderful opportunity to savor the experience of life, past and present, in the first Hebrew city.
